The curator units are part of specialized health and medical care. We conduct psychotherapies, psychosocial support, and treatment work for patients and relatives, as well as provide advice and training to healthcare staff. We are also responsible for supervising health and medical care social work students and social work students during practical training.

1st line manager for the Curator Unit in Falun Ludvika Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged and development-oriented department manager for our curator units at Falu and Ludvika hospitals. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and create conditions for an operation of great importance in healthcare.

As a department manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and finances. You lead a team of curators and a psychotherapist who work with the clinics at Falu and Ludvika hospitals. The role is both strategic and operational - together with your colleagues, you create good conditions for development, well-being, and quality. Together with fellow department managers and business developers, you participate in the Occupational Therapy and curator unit's management group led by the operations manager from a county perspective.

The assignment also includes:

• PKL responsibility (psychological crisis management) in Falun, together with a fellow manager
• Participation in the steering group for support group activities for children in grief, in collaboration with other operations
• Active participation in ongoing development work - we are facing new and exciting assignments

The position entails a fixed-term appointment as a manager with a permanent employment in the basic profession.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work and formal management training
• Has the ability to create engagement, participation, and good collaborative relationships
• Is a confident and positive leader, preferably with knowledge of the healthcare system
• Is communicative, structured, and has the ability to prioritize
• Holds a driver's license as travel is required for the job
